KHPT organized a media roundtable in New Delhi on March 16 titled ‘Community Approaches in Addressing Challenges of TB, Maternal and Adolescent Health in India: KHPT’s Journey and the Role of Media’

Dr Rajendra Joshi, Deputy Director General, Central TB Division; Mr H L Mohan, CEO, KHPT; and Dr Dalbir Singh, Advisor to KHPT and President, Global Coalition Against TB, were key speakers. Dr Swaroop N, Thematic Lead, MNCH and CPHC; Dr Maithreyi Ravikumar, Strategic Lead, Adolescent Health; and Dr Rehana Begum, Project Director, Breaking the Barriers, presented interventions and innovations being implemented in the thematic areas of CPHC, Adolescent Health and TB respectively. The presentations were followed by an engaging interaction with journalists from leading media houses who expressed interest in KHPT’s community interventions and evidence-based research.
