KHPT and Manipal Hospitals supported a three-day cricket tournament held between12-14 May in Bengaluru, organised under the aegis of the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP). The state-level event brought together health sector partners, from government to non-profit organizations, and was organized as part of the TB Haarega Desh Jeetega campaign.

National TB Elimination Programme (NTEP) staff from 16 districts in Karnataka  formed the teams, and were joined by two teams from the Karnataka State AIDS Prevention Society (KSAPS) and KHPT. KHPT was proud to host a cohort of women players composed of KHPT’s field staff and community structure members from the Breaking the Barriers project.

The tournament was inaugurated by Dr Sudarshan Ballal, Chairman, Manipal group of Hospitals and Dr. Anil, State Deputy Director (TB).
