Dr Srinath Maddur, is a psychologist, and has more than 22 years of experience in the fields of HIV and TB. He has years of experience in various client and has held community-centred positions including Project Director, Capacity Building and Behaviour Change Interventions, and as a therapist. He also has experience in managing, designing, implementing and evaluating national and international projects. He has provided technical assistance to the Karnataka State AIDS Prevention Society (KSAPS) in its counselling and testing programs, capacity building activities and other program activities. He has led a team of experts in the areas of capacity building and behavioural interventions, providing technical inputs in the development of training modules, as well as in the planning and implementation of  counselling and advocacy related programs.

Currently, he is based in Canada, rendering consultancy services as a Development Consultant in Capacity Building and Behaviours Interventions by providing strategic support to initiatives aimed at prevention infectious diseases such as TB and HIV, prevention and care programs, elimination of violence against women, TB prevention and care initiatives, and other public health initiatives.   He also supports the Healthy Sexuality and Harm Reduction Unit of the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, Manitoba, Canada, and the National Collaborating Centre for Infectious Diseases, Canada, in program evaluation.

Dr Krishnamurthy Jayanna is a physician and a public health specialist with experience in health and development for close to two decades. His experience spans across HIV, Maternal Neonatal and Child health, Non-communicable diseases and Primary Health Care. His program and research interests revolve around on Quality of Care, Health systems strengthening, Implementation Research, Quality of Life and Integrative Health.

He completed MD in Community Medicine from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, Bangalore; received advanced research training at W.H.O, Geneva and also holds post-doctoral research fellowship in Global Health from University of Manitoba, Canada. He currently works as Professor and Dean of Faculty of Life and Allied Health Sciences at Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bangalore where he support Masters and PhD programs in Public Health as well as multidisciplinary research. He continues to be associated with KHPT as one of its Advisors, for two thematic areas: MNCH and NCDs/CPHC.

Ramachandra Rao Kadambar leads the Karnataka State Multi-Sectoral Nutrition Pilot Project, funded by World Bank. Earlier, he has worked on community mobilisation programme, engaging with sex workers, people living with HIV and transgender on the formation of community-based organisations and co-operatives, under BMGF-Avahan programme.

He has more than three decades of work experience in grassroots community development with downtrodden and vulnerable groups. He has worked in non-government organisations, bilateral and multilateral projects; World Bank and UNDP aided projects. His technical expertise lies in the areas of entrepreneurship development, capacity building, women empowerment, fisheries development, total literacy programme, HIV-AIDS prevention, forestry, drinking water and sanitation, community-based tank management, self-help groups, co-operatives and training.

He has earned his post-graduation in social work with a specialisation in Community Development.

Dalbir Singh is the President of the Global Coalition Against TB. He is well respected in the international arena of TB. He is an Honours graduate in Law and holds an MBA. He has also been the Chairman of Collegiate University of Delhi and a Member, Governing Board, Universal Business School. As National Secretary of Indian National Congress, he has handled challenging political assignments like formulation of policy, strategy, planning, logistics, coordination of Election Campaigns and national political programmes of the party relating to Public Health, Education, Social Welfare, Empowerment, Security and Governance.

Dr Nayanjeet currently works as Director at Ramaiah International Centre for Public Health Innovations. He has vast experience of 25 years in Public Health and Community Medicine, which includes 4 years in Global Corporate Philanthropy, 4 years in national level public health programming and over 10 years in academic and research settings and 5 years in clinical work. His expertise is in community based health intervention planning & evaluation, epidemiological and socio-behavioural research in primary health care and more specifically in non-communicable diseases (NCDs). Dr Nayanjeet’s core competencies include Impact evaluation of health programs, team building, skill-based training of human resources for health and Public Health programs for impact in Primary care service delivery, Non-Communicable Diseases, Innovative RMNCH+A approaches and Workplace Health Promotion, Clinical & translational research and Digital Health Monitoring &Surveillance. He is a member of respected bodies such as the Evaluation Community of India, American Evaluation Association, Better Evaluations, Australia, Indian Medical Association, Indian Association of Community Medicine. He has been the brain behind innovations like the SHARPEN digital platform for virtual training delivery and assessment of highly interactive educational programs and Cardiovascular and Metabolic Risk Assessment tool for Indian adults.

Dr. Prem K Mony is Vide Dean and Professor and Head, Division of Epidemiology at St. John’s Research Institute. He has an MD in community medicine and an MSC in Population Health & Epidemiology). He has held numerous distinguished posts and was also a Hope scholar, Centre for Global Health Research, St Michael’s Hospital, Toronto, Canada (2007 – 2011).

Rajeev Sadanandan is the CEO of Health System Transformation Platform, a think tank on Health Policy and Systems in New Delhi. As a senior IAS office, he worked as Health Secretary of Kerala  and CEO of the Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY), India’s national social health insurance programme, in addition to holding many other positions in state and central governments. Mr Sadanandan worked briefly with UNAIDS, and has been a member of technical committees set up by UNAIDS and WHO. He was recently Advisor to the Chief Minister of Kerala on  the management of COVID-19, and one of the Commissioners of the Lancet Global Health Commission on Financing Primary Health Care. His research interests include the organization and financing of health care.

Dr P L Nataraj, former Director, Health and Family Welfare, Government of Karnataka, has served in the Karnataka State Government for thirty-five years, starting as a medical officer. He holds an MBBS and a Diploma in Ophthalmic Medicine and Surgery (DOMS) from the prestigious Bangalore Medical College & Minto Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Bangalore.

Dr Nataraj has successfully implemented various eye health projects at the national and international level. As a Director, he motivated private entrepreneurs and NGOs to join hands with the Government to provide quality Health Services to the public- especially the rural poor. He wants to dedicate his future to the service of the community for ophthalmic and charity services.

Dr Nataraj provides technical support to KHPT’s Comprehensive Primary Health Care  and Maternal Neonatal and Child Health thematic areas.

Ramya Achar is a techno-functional leader and strategic advisor with two decades of experience in Business Strategy, Digital Transformation, Analytics and Product Management. She was the Chief Product Officer at Tata Health, a start-up incubated by Tata Industries in the Digital Health space. As part of the founding team, she led the ideation and launch of the Tata Health products. Straddling leadership across product, UX, and analytics, she was responsible for productizing innovative solutions, orchestrating execution across teams, and driving consumer engagement. Prior to that, she has led the India Healthcare Provider practice at Cognizant Business Consulting, and worked in companies like Philips, Netherlands. Ramya has served as the Presiding officer of the POSH committee and was an appointed member of the Ethics Committee during her tenure with the Tata group.

She was honoured with ‘AI100 Award – Top 100 Analytics Leaders in India 2022’ by Analytics India Magazine (AIM). She also has a patent filed for AI-based doctor assistant with clinical decision support.

An Electronics Engineer, with an MBA from SPJIMR Mumbai, Ramya has balanced her academic and extracurricular interests in classical music and dance.

She is strongly driven by the motivation to give back to society, and to work for social causes that can have a fulfilling impact. At KHPT, Ramya hopes to leverage her digital and analytics experience to help accelerate the organisation ‘s effort in achieving its goals.
