National Institute for Research in Reproductive Health, Mumbai (NIRRH – Indian Council of Medical Research) conducted the International Conference on Male Involvement in Improving Women’s Sexual and Reproductive Health: Evidences, Actions and Possibilities from 28 February to 2 March 2016.
The conference featured two poster presentations by the Community Interventions team from KHPT’s Project Sukshema. The poster abstracts were on the following topics:
The scientific programme included keynote addresses, plenary lectures, symposia sessions, panel discussions, and poster presentations. The sessions were multi-disciplinary, including findings derived from clinical, operational, socio-cultural and behavioural research, programmes and policy related to sexual and reproductive health.
A total of four plenary lectures and four panel discussions, 10 symposia sessions and 30 poster presentations were presented on research and evidence based practices on involving men in improving women’s sexual and reproductive health.
