KHPT launched a three-day virtual campaign from December 14- 16 on Freedom from Violence in collaboration with the Department of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, the Department of Women and Child Welfare, and the Department of Education, Government of Karnataka.

The aim of the campaign was to educate 20 lakh adolescents on Gender-based Violence and laws related to it, as well as to empower them in the fight against injustice that affects them. The 31 districts of Karnataka were divided into three groups and online campaigns were facilitated by adolescent girls from Koppal and experts who have worked with youth and Gender-based Violence.

The campaign was aired with the technical support of the State Institute for Rural Development in Mysore and Bengaluru.
