KHPT recently won the Karnataka CSR and NGO Awards 2020 in the “Skilling and livelihoods” category for its works to enhance entrepreneurship opportunities among rural womenfolk in Chincholi and Devadurga taluks, as part of its Multi-Sectoral Nutrition Pilot project. The Honourable Health Minister of Karnataka presented the award to Ms Agnita Narendra, Strategic Lead for KHPT’s MNCH theme on Feb 28, 2020, at the Rotary CSR Conference.
The award ceremony was followed by a panel discussion on topics like Mental health, Challenges faced in implementing healthcare policies, Monitoring healthcare programs, Technology and healthcare initiatives, etc.
Mr Mohan HL, CEO, KHPT was invited as one of the speakers for the panel to discuss the need for low-cost good practices to help the Government ensure improvement in maternal and child health and health promotion at large. Mr Mohan was among other esteemed panellists like Dr Sameer Hariani, District Governor, Rotary District 3190, Devesh Agarwal, President, BCIC, Suresh Mony, Director of NMIMS, Bangalore, Abhimanyu Sahu, Director, Schneider Electric, Sudheesh Venkatesh, Chief People Officer, Azim Premji Foundation, etc
