Breaking the Barriers, a four-year project supported by USAID aims to develop innovative behaviour change models that improve coverage of specific vulnerable populations, such as urban vulnerable groups, tribal communities, migrants, mining/industrial/tea garden workers, for increased TB case notifications and improved successful TB treatment outcomes. The project will test and demonstrate pilots designed to address barriers to health-seeking behaviour in the contexts unique to each of these populations.
In order to gain further insights into the lived realities, the precarious situations and the challenges faced by vulnerable populations that increase their risk to TB, we have been conducting a series of webinars.
Join us on 6th October 2020, 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM, for the next webinar in the series, on the topic “Inequalities Within Our Cities: Expert Conversations on Urban Poor, Health & TB”, focusing on the varied vulnerabilities of the urban poor population.
