KHPT was awarded the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India’s (Assocham) “Diabetes Awareness, Prevention and Wellness Award, 2019”, on World Diabetes Day, Thursday, 14th November. It was recognised as one of the top three NGOs in the category of Best NGO for Diabetes Outreach Programs.

Sri Satyendar Jain, Honourable Minister of Health, Government of Delhi, presented the award which was received by Dr Swaroop N, Deputy Director, KHPT.

In partnership with the Landmark Group and the Government of Karnataka, KHPT has been implementing a pilot project to develop a Primary Health Continuum of Care model for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) in Mysuru city for the last two years.
